Knoxville Symphony Orchestra Present Special Story Times at Select Knox County Library Locations

Beginning tomorrow at 10:30 am at the Burlington Library, the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra will present a special story time for kids of all ages.  “Music Throughout the Day” will allow children to explore the places they may hear music during their days.  Along with a string quartet, kids will hear the story, Better Than Cookies, As Good As Cake, by KSO cellist Stacy Nickell Miller.  This story is about a young girl who receives a violin, discovers the sound that it makes by itself and when played with a string quartet.

This special story time can also be seen:

  • Tuesday, February 7th at 11 am at the South Knoxville Branch Library
  • Wednesday, February 8th at 10:30 am at the Carter Branch Library
